Mint Infused Simple Syrup

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cups of mint leaves

This recipe is vegan and gluten-free.

Step 1

Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Step 2
Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add 1 cup of mint leaves, and let syrup steep about 20 minutes.

Step 3

Pour syrup into a sterilized glass jar through a mesh strainer to remove mint leaves. Let cool.
