I will never agree to this corrupt payoff scheme

The president wants a $1.8 billion slush fund to pay off people who stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6th — people who don't respect the democratic process and are convicted of assaulting police officers.

And he wants YOU to pay for it.

This is just wrong, and I will never agree to it.

While families across Oregon work tirelessly to afford gas, groceries, and the basic needs for their families, President Trump is taking more money out of your pocket to give to his billionaire cronies.

Americans do not want a president who is here for personal gain. We demand better. We deserve a government that cares about real issues affecting everyday Americans.

With a strong Democratic majority, I will continue to fight against this kind of blatant corruption.
