Let's Move Oregon Forward
"Representative Hoyle showed tremendous promise as a key member of the House Business Committee. Every pro-jobs bill that came across her desk, she supported, including the tough votes." - Associated Oregon Industries
“She considered the effect of every bill on working people in her district, and was a true champion for Oregon’s middle class,” - Oregon AFL-CIO President Tom Chamberlain.
"Her devotion to the cause of high-quality education initially drew her into civic involvement, and she has carried that commitment to Salem." - Register-Guard
--Dear friends and constituents,
For two years I have had the honor of serving West Eugene, Junction City, Cheshire and Alvadore in the Oregon House of Representatives. I have worked tirelessly to stand up for my constituents in Salem by fighting for affordable and accessible healthcare, family wage jobs and adequate funding for education.
When I moved to Oregon 13 years ago, I turned down higher paying job offers across the country to enjoy the quality of life and renowned public education system that this state offered. Over the past decade I have seen education funding on the decline and critical services drastically cut. I’ve seen some of what makes Oregon a great state, slipping away. Oregon has some big problems and it will take effective, strong leadership to find the solutions we need.
I am not a career politician - I am a mom, a wife, a community member. I went to Salem to fight for my family, community and state, so that we can build an Oregon with all the great qualities that first brought me to the Northwest. With a strong background in business and health care, I do my best to move Oregon forward, but I need your help.
Join me in standing up for our state by letting me know your ideas for a better Oregon. I can be reached by email at val@valhoyle.com.
All the best,
Val
